The Orangery Teddington.

Designed by McLaren Design Consultants and built in 2001. Features include raft foundations, London Stock brickwork, Steel Frame, Glazed Lantern roof, under floor heating, flag stone flooring.
The design based upon a Victorian orangery of circa 1905, however this structure is of higher specification. The base floor slab is mounted over 'clay master' to prevent ground heave, then 50mm Celotex insulation followed by 70mm screed and 50mm flag stones for the floor. The steel frame stands upon the floor structure and extends up to support the roof. A lantern timber framed construction with toughened glazing.
Composite sill section surrounds the structure above the London stock walls that are stepped out at intervals to accentuate the window reveals.

The Clients comment today is that this building changed their life style completely for the better.
